We ship with multiple carriers to give you the best price depending on order size and weight. We also welcome you to pick up your orders at our location at 40 Hockanum Blvd Unit #8, Vernon CT, 06066. We have a pull-through lot and are only two minutes off of I-84.

Shipping and Handling: We will ship with the carrier of our choice unless otherwise specified. We will ship C.O.D. Note: No orders will be shipped without payment, prior to having an account set up with us.

Shipping Estimation at Checkout: We use a shipping calculator at checkout to give each customer an estimate before purchase, however that price is subject to change. If your shipping cost differs from the estimate, we will reach out before shipping. 

Standard tarps for sale on our website are usually in stock and will ship the same day if ordered before 3:00 pm eastern standard time, or the next day if ordered after 3:00 pm eastern standard time. Tarps with requested alterations or custom tarps usually take between one and two weeks depending on our current workload at the time of order.

Yes, we offer the most popular sizes and colors on our website, but we will make a tarp any size, configuration or color that you want. Just give us a call 888-611-TARP (8277)

Kaplan Tarps accepts returns and exchanges of new, original condition products within 30 days of shipping. Just call us at 888-611-8277.  The customer is responsible for proper packaging of the returned product, and unless we made an error or the item is defective, customer is also responsible for return freight charges and a 15% re-stocking fee will apply. We cannot accept returns of products that are customized or manufactured to customer specifications, or products that have been used or exposed to environmental conditions. Prepayment is required in situations where Kaplan Tarps sends replacement product prior to receiving returned product. Once we receive your returned product in new condition, we will refund the difference after applicable restocking and freight charges.

Prices are subject to change. Kaplan Tarps does our best to be competitive and accurate with pricing and promotions, but oversights, and programming errors can create unexpected results.  If incorrect pricing is an issue, we’ll call you for approval of corrected charges before entering your order.

Quality: We manufacture our own tarps, so we control the materials and labor used to produce our tarps. We refuse to compromise on the quality of the products we manufacture. We listen to our customers suggestions and reviews on our products in real world applications and then work with them to make the best American made products.

Price: Since we buy textiles and hardware in large quantities and operate with low overhead, we can sell our products at an extremely affordable price.

Service: We are knowledgeable about our products and a wide variety of applications. We stand behind our products 100% and if for some reason you have a problem, we will work with you to make it right! We can usually ship the same day as ordered on stock products.

Inventory:  We stock over many different tarp sizes and parts for the trucking industry and warehouse many different textiles for custom applications.  Once a customer places an order with us we will store your tarp sizes, materials, and hardware in our computer system for easy reordering.

Experience: We have manufactured and worked with our products for over 120 years! This gives us a unique perspective that our competition just doesn’t have.

Full Weight:  This is the most durable tarp weight we stock (we do stock raw material in heavier weights) , Full weight tarps are usually used by fleets when they are supplying tarps for company drivers or by companies looking for a super durable water proof tarp.  Easy to repair with a patch kit or tarp tape.  

Mid Weight:  This is the most popular weight we tarp we stock.  Mid Weight tarps are very popular with owner operators, fleets, and more who want a 20% weight savings over a Full Weight but still want a lot of durability. Fully Waterproof.   Easy to repair with a patch kit or tarp tape.  

Light Weight:  Our second most popular weight tarp we stock.  Light Weight Tarps are usually used by owner operators or for fleet drivers who you know will take care of the tarps.   These tarps have an almost 50% weight savings over full weight tarps.  In order to get the significant weight savings, you give up some durability so these tarps will need to be padded with felt and properly secured on the load.  Fully Waterproof.  Easy to repair with a patch kit or tarp tape.

We try to stock as many parts as possible.   We carry parts for Dump Truck Systems Electric, Manual and Hydraulic.  Cable Tarp System parts including pulleys, cables, bearings, motors and more, We also carry all parts for side roll tarp systems.  We stock parts from brands including Cramaro, US Tarp, Roll Rite, Aero, Shurco, and more.

Yes, Kaplan Tarps has a department dedicated to custom tarp and cover applications.  Please email nrepay@kaplantarps.com with any questions about custom designs or products you may need.  Our Custom Cover and Tarp Department has experience and access to Auto CAD, Computerized Textile Cutting, Hot Air and Hot Wedge Welding Machines with 2D and 3D welding capabilities and Advanced Juki Sewing Machines with 30” throats.  This department has knowledge working with Military, Government, Aerospace, Agriculture, Construction, Mining, Shipping, Manufacturing, and many more industries.   We can design, source and suggest materials, manufacture, deliver, and install anywhere in the world.

Yes, we have kits available for sale and self-install. We recommend that you have us or someone with knowledge as it is very involved to get it right. We are not responsible for improper self-installations. Or you can buy the kit from one of our distributors and have them install your kit for you.
